It is with great sadness that MROC received the news of the passing of Alan Willaert, AFM Vice President (Canada). An unwaveringly dedicated advocate for the rights of musicians, Alan has served on the MROC Board of Directors for many years. Even through his illness, Alan kept his eye on the issues affecting musicians and contributed in innumerable ways to matters affecting performers’ livelihoods. The MROC Board and Staff send their deepest condolences to Alan’s family. We and the whole performer community will miss him.
